A medical emergency during gym class at Aldine ISD’s Davis High School ended in tragedy when a student died after being transported to a local hospital. School staff provided emergency assistance before first responders arrived.

The incident comes as Texas schools prepare to implement new cardiac emergency response planning and CPR/AED training requirements under the Landon Payton Act.  Read more…
