Lawrenceburg, Indiana (WXIX) – A 14-year-old boy was airlifted to the a hospital after collapsing while running the bases on a ball field in southeastern Indiana Thursday night, according to Dearborn County dispatchers.

It happened at Lawrenceburg Conservancy District Community Athletic Park, 999 Speedway Dr., shortly before 6:30 p.m., she said

CPR was performed, she said, and an automated external defibrillator was requested at one point.

He was flown to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

The boy’s condition was not available early Friday.
