Evan was a 19-year-old college sophomore who was home for Easter break in April 2025. On the night he arrived home, he shared a meal with his family, watched movies, and went to bed shortly before midnight.

The following day, Evan was found unresponsive. Tragically, it was too late for resuscitation efforts. The cause of death was arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC).

Evan had never experienced any warning signs prior to his sudden cardiac arrest.
