In April 2025, 14-year-old Dominic suffered sudden cardiac arrest while on his way home from a workout with his father.

His father immediately began CPR before emergency responders arrived. Dominic was defibrillated four times and later received an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD). He is now living his new life.
