“We join Raiden’s family and loved ones in mourning this devastating loss and offer our deepest sympathies during this incredibly difficult time,” Howard wrote in the letter.

The superintendent noted that counselors, social workers, and support staff have been made available at Robert D. Campbell Jr. High to anyone who needs them.

According to an obituary, Raiden is survived by his parents, three siblings, and multiple family members and friends. He was described as a bright and kind-hearted young man.

Howard concluded the letter by noting how Raiden’s death is a profound loss for the school district and the community.

Visitation for Raiden will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, July 15, at Landmark Baptist Church, followed immediately by a service. Anyone who attends is asked to wear blue, which was Raiden’s favorite color.
